Prayatna was born with an intent to support economically backward communities of society.

Prayatna has the thought that all human beings must have the same opportunity to succeed in life, irrespective of the circumstances they were born into. Because of poor financial status, they lack education, proper healthcare facilities.
​
Crores of poor people are suffering challenges and all they need is a helping hand from others. Prayatna identifies such needy people and supports them to make ends meet.
Project 01..
Shade for Needy Street Vendors
Problem
As we see many street vendors selling fruits & vegetable in the streets without any shade. Amid the raising temperature, sitting in the street has been a challenging one. But it is the question of livelihood for these poor street vendors. These vendors need a shade to cope with the challenge of heat.
Solution
Prayatna under its first project identifies such needy street vendors and provided them umbrellas that helps them to cover under the shade. Hundreds of street vendors has become the beneficiaries of this initiative.
Project 02..
Empowering the needy Weavers.
Problem
We wear varieties of clothes and there is a magician behind this, is a weaver. But, they are struggling in this COVID-19 situation because of the decreased sale of the manufactured products. Also, verities of clothes and imported cloth products has decreased the demand for traditional clothes. These weavers are facing challenges to sell sarees and earn their daily bread.
Solution
Under project No. 2 of Prayatna, we intend to support the economically backward weavers to meet the ends. We have organized many Exhibition cum Sale of Sarees and artifacts to help these weavers to sell their products. This initiative helped many weavers as we got overwhelming response for the exhibition.
Project 03..
A Warm Blanket to protect Slum Dwellers in Winter
Problem
In the winter season, the temperature dips low and dense fog engulfing all around, Slum dwellers experience the bitterness of winter and are at high risk of suffering from severe illness especially children. This has become a difficulty for the slum dwellers to hide from this frigid winter.
Solution
Prayatna has started Project 3 project to help the slum dweller children to protect themselves this winter. This project helps needy souls can nally sleep well during the night. This winter may have no room for kindness, perhaps that’s all the more a reason to celebrate the spirit of giving.
Project 04..
Extended helping hands to a needy
woman to self sustain herself and support her family.
Problem
Under the fourth project of Prayatna, we intended to support a destitute woman who is residing with her daughter in a village called Kangrali B. K. of Belagavi. She lost her husband 9 months ago and has no one to support her livelihood. She is suffering from unstable health conditions as she went into depression due to the loss of her husband. It was difficult for her to go to work.
Solution
Prayatna has taken this initiative to support the needy woman from Kangrali B. K., Belagavi. A grocery and stationery store has been opened and this helps her to earn a livelihood. With the added responsibilities of her daughter's education, support is much needed for her in this situation.
Project 05..
Bringing Smile on little Smilee's face
Problem
Smilee is a 10 years old child who was suffering from life-threatening Acute Liver Failure. Doctors recommended an urgent liver transplant to save Smilee’s life. The transplant costs Rs. 20 lakhs that is far beyond the family’s ability. Smiley's father is the sole breadwinner in their family and his earning is enough only to meet daily expenses.
Solution
Under our 5th project, we have support the kid suffering from life-threatening Acute Liver Failure. We have supported the family to meet the expenses of liver transplant. Finally, lovely child Smilee could be able to recover from this deadly disease.
Project 06..
Distribution of Sewing Machine:
Helping Needy Women to become Self-Sustain
Problem
As we all know underprivileged women don't have enough resources and skills to produce their income. Tailoring work will give the underprivileged women a life-saving moment in their life and income to come out of poverty. They are eager to start a business to support their family. But buying a Sewing machine is out of their reach.
Solution
Prayatna team identifies such needy women and distributes sewing machines to them. As a part of this initiative, Prayatna distributed sewing machines to five women in the first phase. Prayatna aims to improve the economic status of women and their families through this initiative.

Support to Visually Challanged Singer
Problem
Visually Challenged singer Ms. Sonali Chikhalkar lost her eyesight since birth. She completed her secondary education in a Blind School in Belagavi and dropped out due to illness. But she was able to learn singing and that changed her life completely. She aims to achieve high in the coming days. But the economical condition of her family is not supporting her to achieve big in her life. She is seeking support to procure instruments that are needed for her singing. But she could not afford it.
Solution
Among a lot of people who are living like blinds, here is a visually challenged singer who wants to achieve big despite the challenges she has been facing. We have decided to support her by providing a casio that would help her in her singing field. Under seventh project of Prayatna, we have provided casio that helps in her profession.
Project 08..
Upbringing the needy Potter
Problem
In this modern era, traditional pottery is endangered. Here is a family that has been cultivating and promoting pottery for the past 40 years. A 75-year-old elderly person has been working to earn their daily bread by running a pottery business. An electricpowered pottery machine is required for the elderly person to continue this profession.
Solution
Prayatna team decided to provide an Electric-Powered pots-making machine to him under its eighth project. Now the reward was worth the effort. We have handed over the electric-powered pottery that is essential for the elderly person. This will greatly benefit their livelihood.
Project 09..
Efforts to give a New Look to the
Old Hut
Problem
A story of a woman whose husband was a drunkard and passed away 3 months ago. With no financial support, the woman is living in her 25-year-old home with her children. The house was also leaking from haunting rain. Also, she doesn't have the energy to work hard to make ends meet.
Solution
Prayatna team, in the first phase renovated the house of this needy women. Also, ensured to support the education of her children. Mahesh Jadhav and Madhu Jadhav celebrated their wedding day in a unique way by helping her house renovation.
Project 10..
Enlightening the life of a Poor Student
Problem
A student from a poor family whose father is facing health problems and unable to work hard to afford the school fees of his child. Education is light and lack of it is darkness. The student urged Prayatna team for help.
Solution
The student is studying in 10th standard, as a support to his education, our Prayatna team decided to pay his school fees. Our endeavor to support the student who is interested to learn would create a bright future in the coming days.
Project 11..
Proud of Pruthviraj's act of kindness and happy to support him
Problem
The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention...
Pruthviraj travels to his computer class by walking regularly. Pruthviraj doesn't have parents. He used to travel 3-4 km to attend his class. He earns his livelihood as well as getting an education. One day, he found an elderly woman struggling on the roadside. He contacted socialworker Santosh Darekar to help her. Until she was rescued, he has taken care of her.
Solution
Prayatna team has extended support to Pruthviraj by providing him a bicycle. This helps him to save time. We are proud of Pruthviraj's act of kindness and happy to support him.
Project 12..
An endeavor to help the super child Sadashiv
Problem
Sadashiv Somling Ramaji (age 16) is a student of Rajput Bandu High School. He resides on SPM Road, Belagavi. His grandparents work as Security Guard in an Apartment. His family consists of grandparents, a Mother & 2 younger sisters.

Lakshmi, younger sister is studying in 8th standard and one youngest sister Jyoti is studying in 6th Standard. Youngest sister Jyoti recently underwent a 2nd open-heart operation. All 3 study in the same school and are brilliant students.
Solution
Sadashiv daily gets up at 5 am in morning and does newspaper distribution in Tilakwadi. He distributes newspapers in nearly 100 homes in Tilakwadi. He has a rented bicycle on which he goes to distribute the newspaper. Under the Prayatna initiative, we have supported him with the bicycle.
Project 13..
Support a physically challenged girl to enlighten her life.
Problem
Sanvi Mahaveer Jakkanavar is a resident of Gandhi Nagar near Samarth Nagar, Belagavi. She is studying in 3rd standard in Government School of Samarth Nagar, Belagavi. She has been affected by polio since birth. Her father regularly drops and picks her up at school. It was painful to see the struggle of the girl and her family.
Solution
Prayatna team has taken this initiative to support her. In addition to providing a wheelchair, also took the educational responsibility of Sanvi Jakkanavar.

An endeavor to help the talented girl
Problem
No obstacles like poverty shouldn't affect the education of the student, with this aim Prayatna team helping a girl belonging to a poor family studying BCA in Gogte College Belagavi. Due to her poor economical background, she can't afford the Laptop and college fees which are essential for her studies.
Solution
To support this talented girl, Prayatna team has extended support by giving laptop and paying her college fees. This will be helpful for her studies.

Problem
A strugle of single mother is more difficult while handling the family economic condition and the children's education. Here is single mother who is struggling to educate her daughters.
Solution
Prayatna team taken a initiative to help this woman and helped to educate her daughters by supporting her to pay the school fees.

Breaking the barrier of poverty and supporting
the education of poor girl
Problem
This girl from a poor family whose parents work hard to fulfill the needs of the family. While studying the 1st year of PUC Science the girl stopped going to college due to her appendix operation and directly faced her final exams and passed with good grades. Due to poor economic background, the family was unable to afford further educational expenses.
Solution
Poverty shouldn’t affect anyone's education. Prayatna team initiative helped to continue her education and admitted her to Siddarameshwar College Belagavi.
Project 17..
Helping needy children accomplish their dream
Problem
These children belong to a poor family in Shahu Nagar, Belagavi. Just like others, these children want to pursue a good education, but due to poverty, the family was not able to send the children to a good school because of the high range of educational expenses.
Solution
To accomplish the dream of these children Prayatna team took the initiative and supported these children by paying their school fees and providing school kits and necessary stationery and helping them to continue their education.
Project 18..
Extending our helping hands to support the education of poor girl
Problem
A girl belongs to a poor family and her father is an auto driver he is the only source of income but due to some health issues, he was on medication & bed rest. The family was unable to afford the educational expenses of the girl and decided to drop her education after SSLC.
Solution
To avoid the girl from dropping her education in the middle Prayatna team took the initiative to help her and provided the necessary support to continue her education.

An effort to save the needy woman's life
Problem
A 46-year-old Mrs. Supriya Paranjape was a resident of the Maratha colony, Tilakwadi, Belagavi. A few weeks ago, her health condition became serious and suffered from multiple life-threatening diseases. She was a working woman but she lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has no savings to manage her treatment expenses. She has only one daughter who is currently studying Engineering and is unable to afford the treatment expenses.
Solution
Prayatna team has strived hard to help her recover soon by extending financial support. And provided financial support for her medical expenses.
Project 20..
An endaviour to support the education of poor boy
Problem
Tejas belongs to a poor family in a slum area of Belagavi & he lives with his mother. His mother is a street vendor and she is the only source of income. Somehow he managed to complete the 1st year of PUC in KLE society's G. A Comp Pre University College Belagavi. But due to the poor economic condition of his family, he couldn't afford further educational expenses and this made him drop his higher education.
Solution
Prayatna team approached Tejas, encouraged him to continue his education and paid his college fees which helped Tejas to continue his higher education

Enlighting the lamp of education in the life of a poor girl
Problem
Sukanya Siddaram Kambar belongs to a poor family and pursuing her 1st PUC science at Gogte College of Commerce, Belagavi. Her father is a daily wage earner and one of a sudden he had a paralysis attack now he is bedridden. Sukanya's mother is the only source of income, but managing all needs, healthcare expenses and educational expenses would not be possible on a single earning. And the family was unable to afford the educational expenses and decided to drop their daughter’s education in the middle.
Solution
To stop Sukanya from quitting her education, Prayatna team has taken the initiative. And supported her education by paying college fees.
Project 22..
Helping poor girl to complete her education
Problem
Poor families are unable to afford the huge educational expenses of their children this is one of the biggest obstacles in society. Komal Jayaram Pawar was a poor girl who lost her father at a young age and now her mother was the sole breadwinner as well as a support to her. Currently, Komal is pursuing her 1st year of PUC commerce at Shivabasappa Geeranavar Pre-University College, Belagavi. Managing all needs and the high educational expenses was not affordable for her mother. This made her think about her further education.
Solution
Prayatna Team took the initiative to support the girl to pursue her higher education and approached her and paid her college fees
Project 23..
Helping poor girl to complete her education
Problem
Bhumika Sunilsingh Rajput belongs to a Middle Class family and her father was the sole breadwinner. He had taken a truck on loan and used to Drive it for earning. Recently, her father was found to have Mouth Cancer which is on 3rd stage. He has stopped working and the family is struggling to survival. Now the income is totally stopped.
Solution
Bhumika Sunilsingh Rajput is a talented girl but was unable to continue her education because of financial problems in her family. Prayatna team supported her education by paying her college fees as well as assured her father's medical treatment.

Enabling the poor girl to continue her education
Problem
Education is a powerful weapon that can help people to deal with challenges and provides a stable base for their future. Completing education is not an easy task for students belonging to the poor family, they need financial and moral support. Here is a poor family where the single mother is only the sole breadwinner. Her daughter was pursuing her education. All was going smoothly until the mother's health condition was good but suddenly her condition became worst due to severe illness and her daughter decided to quit her education.
Solution
We have come across such many families who are struggling to provide education to their children and we are trying to support them. Prayatna team extended its helping hand to support the education of this poor girl and paid her college fees
With the support of generous individuals we could be able to embody our mission of bettering the lives of needy people. We look forward to continuing our efforts to make this society a better place for the poorest.

The family’s economic condition was not so good and unable to afford the medical expenses. Prayatna team took initiative to support the family and paid the medical expenses of Mr. Sunil Singh Rajput and helped him to get the treatment at the correct time.

All the family’s responsibility was on his shoulder, all was going smoothly but one day he was diagnosed with mouth cancer which was on 3rd stage. He has stopped working and the family is struggling to survive. Now the income is totally stopped.
